Party Planning

Do you think I could convince my better half to wear this hat on his 40th birthday? No I don’t think so either, even though he is the biggest Toy Story fan ever. I have been trying to plan ahead for his birthday this year well next year really since he was born in January! It’s going to be a crazy half a year for us with his 40th in January and my 30th in April but we intend to enjoy both birthdays and pretend that we’re not reaching “milestones” because that tends to suck all the fun out of them. I have his gift planned and his cake as well as cake eating party planned but that is it so far and I feel like I am severely lacking in something. I have never been the best party planner, in fact I pretty much stink at keeping gifts a surprise too and always want to blurt out what the gift is because I am so excited about it. This time around I am trying very hard not to ruin the surprise though because it will be a big surprise!
